Goodbye God, Hello Life!
My Difficult Journey Out of Fundamentalism and Into Freedom
- Scott Campbell

Scott Campbell grew up in a fundamentalist Baptist family. He preached his first sermon at the age of 16. Upon graduating from Carleton University, he joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, and for three years, sought to bring University of Toronto students to Jesus. Scott then became a pastor and between 1984 to 1994, he served as a Baptist minister at two different churches in Toronto, completing his MDiv along the way.

Now he is an atheist.

In his keynote, Scott will share his journey with you and will reveal the key things he has learned about himself, about fundamentalism and the harm it does, and about the joy of living a life free from dogma. He’ll also discuss some of his reflections on how best to help others who are also leaving fundamentalism behind.
